A LOT OF BABY GIFTS

My daughter is a school teacher and is also at the age where a lot of her friends are having babies. She had 2 girl friends recently who had baby showers and asked me to embroider some bibs. For one in particular she asked me to make an outfit. I used the Martha Pullen Jon Jon pattern and I used a Linnie Pinnie applique dragon. I also had this cute blanket with matching little soothie and monogrammed the babies initials on the blanket.

My daughter said that her friend loved the outfit, blanket and bibs.

USC GAMECOCK LONG ALLS

This is a jon jon I made for my daughters best friend who's baby is turning one next week. Of course she is a big USC fan (but I won't hold that against her), so I had to try this embroidery design on Bryce's outfit. It is called feathermetto which is a cross between a gamecock and the SC Palmetto tree.

These pictures aren't great, but I think you can get the idea. I hope it fits little man! I can't wait to see him sporting this outfit.

I used a black micro check gingham and white broad cloth. The pattern I used was the Childrens Corner Johnny.

NOW EVERYONE'S HAVING A BOY!

I want to apologize for not posting in several weeks. I honestly don't know where the time went. I have been so busy over the last few weeks doing a bunch of different things. I was under the weather with a nasty cold the weekend that I made this outfit and blanket and for some reason it is taking quite a while to get over it. I still have that little tickle in the back of my throat but it is certainly much better than it was.

I also went to my first crop. It was a lot of fun. I only spent the day but I would have loved to have been there for the weekend. It is a local spot in a nearby town and I'm sure I will be doing it again. I was traveling for a couple of days for work and I've been working a lot of overtime the last couple of weeks.

Below is another Martha Pullen Jon Jon. We have a sweet young couple in our church who is having their first child. It is also the grandparents first grandchild so it's a double happy time in their lives. I made this outfit a couple of weeks ago and took it to the church just in time for the shower on Sunday afternoon and the following Sunday, Sommer went into labor a month early and gave birth to Nathan Butler Hughey. He is a beautiful 5lb baby boy with lots of black hair. Everyone is doing fine and the grandparents are over the moon.

I'm finally out of this green ghingham so I won't be making any more in this fabric. My neighbor also has a baby boy due soon so I will be off to the fabric store this week to find something suitable for him!

ANOTHER BABY GIFT - BUT THIS TIME IT'S A BOY

This is a Martha Pullen Jon Jon that I have cut down to a smaller size (3 mos.) for my husbands Dr. and his wife. We are traveling to Atlanta, GA tomorrow for a Dr.'s visit so I rushed through this one because I spent almost the whole day yesterday on the CARD! LOL.

I'm not excited about the card but I am ok with it, enough to give anyway. I used Once Upon a Princess for the word "dream" and Summer in Paris for the baloon.

My neighbor is having a boy in the next few weeks and another young couple from our church is having a baby shower for their baby boy next Sunday so you will be seeing another suit or two coming up in the next few weeks.
