This is my first card with my Imagine! I like the card and I still have a lot to learn with the Imagine but I can see 2 tiny little imperfections in this card and it is driving me crazy!!!! Can you see them?

I know you can't tell it in the card, but on the wording "Little Stinker" I used POP Dots to make it 3 dimensional.

The background is from Nursery Tails as well as the light green backing of my little skunk. The skunk of course if from Create a Critter.

I loved using the color fill. That is really great.

I'm also using Recollections paper which is about 65 lb paper and I think I am going to get some Bazzill paper at my LSS or some Georgia Pacific from Walmart. When I checked the other day the Georgia Pacific paper is 110 lb and I think that would work better for cards.

P.S. My 2 imperfections......my little skunk man is CROOKED!!! and my background paper is just slightly crooked. Overall, I'm happy with the look and it didn't take me 2 hours to make it. LOL.

This is a Martha Pullen Jon Jon that I have cut down to a smaller size (3 mos.) for my husbands Dr. and his wife. We are traveling to Atlanta, GA tomorrow for a Dr.'s visit so I rushed through this one because I spent almost the whole day yesterday on the CARD! LOL.
I'm not excited about the card but I am ok with it, enough to give anyway. I used Once Upon a Princess for the word "dream" and Summer in Paris for the baloon.
My neighbor is having a boy in the next few weeks and another young couple from our church is having a baby shower for their baby boy next Sunday so you will be seeing another suit or two coming up in the next few weeks.

This is a birthday card that I made for our Sunday School teacher. I used my new Gypsy and both the "Happy Birthday" and the cute little "Whale" came from Gypsy Wanderings. I cut out some blue patterned paper with a wave on it and embossed it with one of my cuttlebug folders. Then I cut around the top of the embossed curves to make it look like waves.....I am very pleased with how the ocean turned out. If you can't read the insdie of the card it says "Have a Whale of a Birthday!"

It took me a while to decide what I wanted to do, but once I put the designs on my Gypsy, I cut it out, and it went together very very quickly compared to what I have been doing.

I'm still struggling with color and pattern. I'm a little disappointed that you can't read the Happy Birthday very well, but overall, I'm more pleased with this card than any other card I've made. Partly because I came up with the complete design myself and partly because that little whale is so darn cute.

In the midst of all of the monogramming and sewing yesterday, I even found time to work on card making....I have so little experience with it, that I went to http://www.cardcreationsbylorraine.blogspot.com/ to watch some videos. I love Lorraines cards and thought I would try to make one of her more simple cards.

I started with the "Cute as a Button" card because I just purchased the Martha Stewart button puch/embosser and I just love it.

I then went further down her blog and saw a pop up birthday card and tried to "CASE" it. I had to deviate from what Lorraine did with a cake because I didn't have one. I tried to put a cupcake in mine, (I cut out two different ones) but both of them stuck out of the bottom of the card when I closed it! LOL What I ended up doing was putting some flowers I had on the inside and it worked out much better. The cards aren't perfect, but I'm still learning and have a long way to go, but overall I am pleased with them!

This was my first card I've ever made!  I used my brand new Paisley cartridge and my Cricut.  I am very new to Scrapbooking and Paper Crafting, but I must say that I am extremely happy with the outcome.  I haven't put anything on the inside yet because I don't know when I'm going to use it!  The picture is certainly a little whonky but I'm still learning about this blog thing.
